Hands stay clear of the blade
The vegetable sits in a closed chamber and the pusher does the pressing. On a flat mandoline you guide your fingers right over the edge — here there is no reason to.
Gravity does the collecting
Because it cuts vertically, the pieces fall straight into the container. The step where you scrape everything off a board disappears.
Folds flat
The legs close against the body, so it stands upright in a cupboard or lies in a drawer instead of taking over the counter.
Non-slip feet
Rubber tips hold the tool in place while you press the handle, even on a wet worktop.

Common questions
How many thickness levels are there, and how do I change them?
Four. You change them with the dial on the back of the body — an arrow marks the current setting. Nothing has to be unscrewed or removed.
Can I put it in the dishwasher?
The plastic parts — chamber, pusher, strainer scoop, container and lid — go on the top rack. We recommend washing the blade insert by hand with the included brush. Heat and dishwasher detergent dull a cutting edge over time.
Is the plastic safe for food?
Yes. It is BPA-free and approved for food contact, including raw vegetables and fruit.
Is it safe to use?
The vegetable works inside a closed chamber and you press it with the pusher, so your fingers never approach the blade. The blades are still sharp, though — use the brush when cleaning, handle the insert by its frame, and keep it away from children.
How much space does it take when folded?
